Background
Thamreen Khan is a licensed master social worker (LMSW). She received her clinical training from Loyola University Chicago in Leadership and Development in Nonprofit Management and Health. She has conducted trauma-informed and crisis training, community assessments and parent consultations. She has experience in servicing adolescents, adults, the elderly, couples, families, and even more specifically all ethnicities and backgrounds. She employs a Person-Centered approach, with treatment modalities such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and crisis management skills and interventions.
