Sally Thrasher is a temporary limited licensed psychologist (TLLP) working under the supervision of Dr. Michelle Leonard. She obtained her masters of science degree through the clinical health psychology program at University of Michigan-Dearborn. Her clinical placement was at Beaumont Health where she worked with inpatient psychiatric and neuropsychological disorders. Her research focuses on examining the relationship between gastrointestinal health and mood/stress-related disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and she continues to work with patients who are experiencing these symptoms. Additionally, she works with individuals, couples, and families. Sally uses a mind-body approach within the treatment modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She also conducts psychiatric and neuropsychological testing to further aide diagnostics. Sally is bilingual in Arabic and English.
